Vehicle Crash on Interstate 80 Left Eastbound Lane Closed

LOVELOCK, NV (November 22, 2021) – A vehicle crash on Interstate 80 involving a livestock truck left a lane closed Thursday afternoon.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, eastbound traffic on I-80 flowed on the shoulder about 7 miles west of Lovelock.

Furthermore, the traffic occurred due to a multiple-vehicle incident involving a livestock truck.

Moreover, the livestock truck was carrying around 65 cows.  Eventually, a pickup truck was pinned beneath a tractor-trailer involved in the accident.

Consequently, one driver was taken with injuries and is in stable condition. The driver of the livestock vehicle claimed to have been hurt as well.

Meanwhile, there are no details about the crash’s cause. But NHP reported severe winds and brown-out conditions in the region during the crash.
