Finding an event during Christmas week that entertains everyone from grandma to baby can be a challenge. While rosewater foot baths and herbal readings may sound like a nice night out for Grandma, she'd better also dig seeing lots of women's thighs and shirtless men in makeup. If the challenge is to entertain a handful of moody, college-age cousins, however, this is the event. The Los Angeles-based Lucent Dossier Experience is a cavalcade of old-timey sideshows (stiltwalkers, bearded lady) and flourishing acrobatics aimed at evoking the decadence of late-1800s Paris — only this time with all the technical and safety standards of 21st-century America. It probably will be hard to get through the bar line without encountering a juggler or a contortionist, but that's what you get for going out on the winter solstice. The Fonda Theatre, 6126 Hollywood Blvd., Hlywd.; Sat., Dec. 21, 9 p.m.; $30. (323) 464-6269, fondatheatre.com.
