It really has (purple) rained on Los Angeles since last week, and the downpour of sorrow and celebration since Prince's passing isn't drying up anytime soon. In fact, some of the best and most epic Prince nights are yet to come.

With live shows and DJ sets by some of those who knew him, a roller skate night and more screenings and rare Prince gems to be unearthed on film and record, looks like it's time for us little doves to stop crying and just go out and get crazy, like he told us to.

PRINCE TRIBUTE SKATE NIGHT
Moonlight Rollerway and Thunder Ground present this rollicking and rolling night of Prince musicology, which should be as wild and free-wheeling as the Bowie Skate night a couple months ago. Apparently, on top of everything else he did, Prince was an amazing skater — who knew? Regardless, his rhythmic jamz should make for quite a ride around the rink. At Moonlight Rollerway, 5110 San Fernando Road, Glendale; 8 p.m.-midnight; $15; 18+. More info.
