Tomorrow night, the one and only KCRW DJ/LA Weekly contributor Henry L. Garfield will be spinning records from his personal collection for the masses at the Echoplex. Not familiar with his work? Perhaps you remember him as Spider in “Johnny Mnemonic”? That's right, tomorrow night, Mr. Henry Rollins will be sharing stories and vinyl treasures from his music vault for this first-ever listening party presented by KCRW.

Show has just sold out, but tickets are still floating around on the Craig's list or wear that council member Eric Garcetti costume you have laying around, and “inspect the premises” for “official business.”

The one-off performance won't be recorded or rebroadcast so you only have one chance to see Rollins reveal the stories behind his songs.

Henry Rollins will reveal the location of cowboys.

The story behind the video: The video is simple, primarily featuring Paula in the foreground singing or posing for the camera, while her band plays in the background. These shots are augmented by various shadowy or obscure images of people walking, sitting at a table, sitting in a car and riding a horse. There are several points where the video looks grainy, adding to the effect of the song. (via wikipedia)

Get Paula Cole on vinyl! I smell reeeeeeemixxxxxx!
