Traffic Crash near Dunaway Road Resulted in Multiple Casualties

IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA (November 10, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a box truck crash on Interstate 8 left Henry Herren and several others injured.

The collision occurred on November 6th around 2:27 p.m. near Dunaway Road.

According to the police, an eastbound 2003 International 4300 box truck on Interstate 8 drifted onto the opposing lanes for reasons unknown.

As a result, the truck collided with a 2006 Beaver Monterey motorhome.

The box truck driver, later identified as 62-year-old Henry Herren of Las Vegas, sustained minor injuries and declined medical transport at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported two motorhome passengers, a 12-year-old girl to Rady’s Children’s Hospital and a 10-year-old boy to El Centro Regional Medical Center, for minor injuries.

The motorhome driver, identified as 50-year-old Jaime Nguyen Garcia of Las Vegas, remained uninjured.
