Four Killed, 3 Injured in Auto Accident near California 33

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 13, 2022) – Wednesday, four were killed, and Henry Cool, Maikolo Fekitoa, were hurt in a collision on Interstate 5.

The incident happened on the southbound lanes of the freeway, just north of California 33 around 9:27 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a blue 2009 Chrysler Aspen SUV and four passengers ejected from the vehicle.

For reasons unknown, the SUV driver veered off the road and slammed into a parked big-rig on the shoulder on the highway.

Eventually, paramedics transported Cool, Fekitoa, and an 11-year-old girl to a local hospital after suffering significant injuries.

Per reports, crews pronounced a total of four victims dead as a result of the collision. At this time, an active investigation into the fatal crash is still ongoing.
