Dominic Lyons Arrested after Fatal DUI Collision near Railroad Avenue

FAIRFIELD, CA (January 12, 2023) – Saturday night, Dominic Lyons was arrested after a DUI crash on East Tabor Avenue that killed Henry Blank.

The incident happened on Christmas Eve, at around 10:15 p.m., at the East Tabor Avenue and Railroad Avenue intersection.

According to reports, Lyons was driving along East Tabor Avenue when his vehicle collided with Blank’s vehicle. The impact of the collision caused Blank and two other occupants in his vehicle to sustain injuries.

First responders transported Blank and his two passengers to a local hospital for further treatment. There, medics pronounced 62-year-old Blank, from Vacaville dead due to the extent of his injuries.

Meanwhile, police arrested and booked the DUI driver, Lyons, of Vallejo into the Sonoma County Jail.

Authorities also released a statement on Tuesday claiming that the social media rumors of a shooting connected to the incident are false.
