Yeah, yeah, there's a big football game on today. For some of us that means it's a great day to take advantage of the empty roads and go on a long, long journey — like to Santa Monica, for example. Morgan Taylor brings his much-beloved “musical moving storybook” known as Gustafer Yellowgold's Show to town for kids and their hip parents (and vice versa). In case you've been too busy psychoanalyzing Barney, Gustafer is a cute yellow fellow visiting from the Sun, and the show follows his earthly adventures with “an explorer's life in a slightly psychedelic version of the Minnesota woods, where he resides in a cottage with his menagerie of friends, including a pet eel, a tuxedo-wearing pterodactyl, and a dragon named Asparagus, who inhabits the fireplace and loves corn on the cob.”
