28-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck and Killed near 80th Street East 

LANCASTER, CA (December 5, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, Hector Reyes was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Avenue I.

The collision happened around 5:45 a.m., near 80th Street East in San Bernardino County. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a 1994 Ford Econoline van struck the pedestrian in a dark area. Investigators also claimed that there were no streetlights at the scene. 

Upon impact, the van driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 28-year-old Reyes, of Colton dead at the scene.
