Fitness Fest and Conscious Market, put on by The City of Santa Monica and Fit Girl L.A. Club hopes to bring together the wellness community’s many factions and interests- from yoga to weight training to essential oils and crystals to meditation and sustainable fashion. Twenty-five local and minority-owned businesses promoting zero waste, eco-friendly creation and self-care will vend while free fitness classes take place throughout the day featuring stretching, cardio, chakra dance and even spinning (reservations for bikes are full, but there is a stand-by list).

Participating companies include: AISU Essence, Ashley’s Light Shop,  Beso del Sol, Claryti, Conscious Market Co-Op, Crystal Balance, Crystal Heaven Candles, Fun Earth Co, Haus of Trade, LadyUniverse, MyIntent, MOBOT, Peri the Label, Set Intentions, St. Cole,  THERABODY, UBILAM, Vive Salvaje, AKT West LA, Burn Fitness, Cyclebar, Girls Who Cycle, NAAM, Ritual Gym, We Explore Earth, 9Round Kickboxing and more.

Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mat, towel and water. Complimentary drink and snack samples (via healthy companies including RISE Brewing Co., MUSH, Après and Barcode) will be available while supplies last.

Fitness Fest and Conscious Market, Sat., Feb. 5, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. at Third Street Promenade, 1400 Block, Santa Monica. Attendance is free, but registration is required via Eventbrite.
