From pizzas to pies and cookies to sushi, here are some Valentine’s Day ideas from the heart for your loved ones.

This Valentine’s Day, eat your heart out with a heart-shaped, hand-held cherry or cinnamon apple pie from Polly’s Pies. The 50-year-old SoCal pie chain is accepting online orders through Feb. 10 at all locations and available for pick up Feb. 8 through Feb. 14. In addition to the heart-shaped pies, Polly’s also is baking Valentine sugar cookies and offering hand-dipped Ghirardelli chocolate-covered strawberries. To preorder, visit pollyspies.com through Feb. 8 and restaurants will have a limited number of hand-held pies for walk-in orders.

Bianca bakery has a few sweet ideas on how to celebrate, including gift-wrapped  heart-shaped Linzer cookies, as well as the chocolate-covered Alfajor cookie – a large heart-shaped sandwich cookie filled with dulce de leche and covered in chocolate. They also have a heart-shaped mixed berries tart for two and chocolate long-stem strawberries.

La Pizza & La Pasta at Eataly will be offering a special a la carte San Valentino menu featuring heart-shaped Neapolitan pizzas and regional housemade pasta from Feb. 11 to Feb. 14. And at Fresh Brothers, any pizza on the regular menu, excluding gluten-free, can be ordered heart-shaped at no extra charge.   

For couples opting to celebrate the occasion at home, Little Dom’s has a pizza-making kit for two that includes two Little Dom’s pizza doughs, an 8 oz. jar of tomato sauce, and a ball of mozzarella. Additional toppings such as pepperoni, house-made fennel sausage, arugula and more also are available at an additional cost. Pastry Chef Ann Kirk once again is baking up her signature naughty-and-nice, heart-shaped sugar cookies that  will be available starting on Monday, Feb. 7 at Little Dom’s Deli.

Gourmet grocer Bristol Farms is offering to make an at-home Valentine’s dinner extra special with a heart-shaped Wellington dinner for two (Beef, Salmon, or Vegan). Choose two entrees, sides for two, and dessert (organic, dark chocolate-covered strawberries). The vegan option is made with portobello mushrooms, onion, spinach, vegan ricotta, and parmesan in a heart-shaped wellington with vegan mushroom sauce.

All Kura Revolving Sushi Bar locations in the U.S. will be offering a Valentine’s Seafood Chirashi, available for purchase for indoor dining, as well as takeout and delivery at order.kurasushi.com, from Feb. 11 to Feb. 14, while supplies last. A single heart-shaped sauce tray is included with every order. 

Beverly Hills modern Mexican restaurant  Mírame will be offering a Valentine’s Day menu created by Chef Josh Gil, which includes grilled oyster with uni, Dungeness crab with artichoke, avocado, crab consommé and lemongrass vapor, Beef Wellingtón with bloomsdale spinach, esquites and morita chili-red wine, Lobster Cassoulet with Mayocoba beans, seafood sausage and tortillas. For dessert, indulge in flaming choco flan with mezcal ice cream and Mayan cacao soil. 

Paris Baguette has a special collection of custom Valentine’s Day cakes including the opulent Sweetheart Cake topped with roses and filled with strawberries, which can be pre-ordered and picked up from Paris Baguette bakeries or delivered straight to your home.  Pre order through  Feb. 6, and pickup or delivery begins Feb.  7 – Feb. 14.
