Heart Music Group is best known as the indie management company behind L.A. artists like Fol Chen and Baths, which is to say: it's pretty much only known to people in the business.

But that stands to change tonight, when Heart head Joshua Fischer takes over Downtown warehouse space The Sex with a little help from his friends and clients.

Baths will be headlining the 18 and over event, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m., with support from a talented and aesthetically similar lineup of up-and-comers: Teen Daze, Light Pollution, Gobble Gobble, Blackbird Blackbird, and Kites Sail High.

It's ten bones to get in, and considering DJ sets by Fol Chen, Sodapop (of Anticon) and Sylo are on the menu as well, that seems like a bargain.

And whether or not you attend, you can take home music from the night's live acts.

In honor of the event, Heart has dropped a free six-song digital EP, fittingly titled <3, which includes the unreleased Baths song, “Nordic Laurel.” Dig in.
