Last Sunday, Carlos Martinez’s Rock & Roll Wrestling Bash presented the U.S. opening of its “Exotrash” metal and wrestling extravaganza, which has been shown in Germany and other European countries since 2003. The local host was El Brujo, with musical accompaniment by his Gore-Chestra (Pacific Coast Unit, featuring Bill Hudson, Damien Rainaud, Robert Madrigal and John Hatfield). The special musical guest was Gary Holt of Exodus (and Slayer). Luchadores, sexy dancers and rock & roll — could Carlos Martinez’s Rock & Roll Wrestling Bash be Los Angeles’ new Easter Sunday tradition?
