With City Controller Wendy Greuel reporting Monday that one city agency couldn't even locate nearly $1 million in purchased items and CBS2 News recently catching Department of Water and Power workers drinking and hanging out at a strip club on the taxpayers' dime, the Daily News asks in an editorial Tuesday if City Hall's employees have “gone wild in Los Angeles.”

The paper wonders aloud if the workers involved will get a pass from city leadership: ” … If history is any guide, the punishment will be more of a slap on the wrist and the city will continue to be a place that justifiably earns the public's mistrust,” the paper states. It even made a funny: How many DWP workers does it take to change a street light bulb?

Four. One to climb the pole, three to visit the strip club.
