Harry Potter Goes Burlesque in "The Knock Shop of Secrets" (Some NSFW)

Welcome to the magical world of the Knock Shop!

Cherry Poppins Productions' new show takes on the wizarding world at Three Clubs, in a production that has been extended through May. “The boy who lived,” here named Harry Poppins, dances and sings her way through her Whorewarts classes, along with the help of her two close friends, Ron Squeeze-me and Him-ione. The trio, along with the help of witches and whore-locks, must band together to take down She Who Must Not Be Tamed by destroying the various Whorecrotches.

This musical parody is described by Cherry Poppins as “a special love potion with a dash of teenage hormones, a sprinkle of burlesque and the usual helping of Cherry hijinx that will leave you infatuated and possibly obsessed.”

The production is wonderfully acted and beautifully choreographed, allowing the viewer to get swept up and lost in the magic, even when the plot goes a little off the rails in the second half in favor of musical numbers. Still, it's one of the group's funniest and wildest burlesque/cabaret concoctions yet.
