An 11-second video of a spinning roulette wheel posted on the HARD Fest Facebook page Sunday fueled a week's worth of wild rumors about this year's HARD Summer festival. As previously reported, the EDM extravaganza was unlikely to return to last year's location, Whittier Narrows, or to its 2010-2013 site, L.A. State Historic Park, which remains closed for renovation. So what did the roulette wheel mean? Would HARD be following its sibling rival festival EDC to Vegas? Or maybe to some Indian casino?

The video — and a subsequent clip posted on March 10, which featured slot machines — promised some answers on Friday the 13th. Hey, that's today! So what's the deal, HARD?

It turns out we needn't have worried. HARD Summer isn't leaving Los Angeles in the rearview, at least not entirely. It's just heading up the 10 a ways, to the Pomona Fairplex, the perfectly acceptable location of last fall's HARD Day of the Dead.

Tickets for the 2014 Fairplex edition of HARD Summer go on sale today at Noon PDT at www.hardsummer.com. The festival takes place August 1 and 2. The lineup has not yet been announced, but HARD CEO Gary Richards promised via a press release: “It's almost complete — just putting the final cherries on top.”

No word yet on how much tickets will cost. Maybe you'll get to pull a virtual slot machine handle and if you get three cherries, it's free?
