Breakfast: Frosted Flake and Strawberry Hotcakes at Griddle Cafe

Start your day off with the Hear Me Roar: massive, fluffy hotcakes stuffed with Frosted Flakes and topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, or choose from Griddle Cafe's 20 other decadent flapjack options — no really, some of them are stuffed with Oreo's and Kahlua.

Brunch: Ricotta and Blueberry Pancakes at Little Dom's

At Little Dom's, chow down on a stack of ricotta cheese and blueberry pancakes, served light and fluffy every day until 3:00 p.m.

Lunch: Fried Chicken and Pancakes at Slater's 50/50

Chicken and waffles have long been a staple of Angelenos who refuse to categorize breakfast foods as such, but now you can pair another breakfast favorite with fried chicken: pancakes. At Slater's 50/50, order the syrup-smothered stack of three buttermilk pancakes with fried chicken plus a fried egg. Top it off with bacon-infused gravy and strips of bacon … because National Pancake Day only comes once a year, and this place stays open until 1:00 a.m.

Dinner: Kimchi and Seafood Pancakes at Chunju Han-Il

For a Korean pancake feast, Chanju Han-Il offers four choices that you certainly won't find at IHOP: crunchy kimchi pancakes, fried potato pancakes, pajeon (green onion) pancakes and thin seafood pancakes laced bit chopped octopus, all served sizzling on a stone.

Dessert: Red Velvet Pancakes at The Buttermilk Truck

This griddle on wheels known as The Buttermilk Truck will be serving up their red velvet chocolate chip pancakes and other buttermilk guilty pleasures today from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Modern VideoFilm, 2300 W. Empire Ave. in Burbank. Who says you can't eat pancakes for lunch? And red velvet pancakes, at that.
