There it is as you enter the august space of Disney Hall: The world’s largest bag of french fries. Actually, it’s the hall’s custom-built pipe organ, a mighty, massive instrument that’s celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of events titled Happy Birthday, “Hurricane Mama”! The roof-rattling power and glory (6,134 pipes’ worth) of the organ is the order of the day as glam-punk organ whiz Cameron Carpenter joins conductor Gustavo Dudamel, soprano Heidi Stober and the L.A. Phil in a program that includes Carpenter’s organ adaptation of Scriabin’s Piano Sonata No. 4 and Saint-Saëns’ super-colossal “Organ” Symphony. Cameron Carpenter pre-concert recital and interview at 6:45 p.m. on Nov. 20 & 21.
