21-Year-Old Woman and 17-Year-Old Boy Killed In Linda Vista Crash

SAN DIEGO, CA (March 30, 2021) – Friday night, Haley Takeda and Marc Anthony George III were killed in a head-on collision on Genesee Avenue.

The accident occurred shortly before 11:00 p.m., near Linda Vista Community Park. Emergency crews arrived shortly after.

George and another 17-year-old boy were driving westbound in a Toyota Camry when they sideswiped a Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed.

George and his passenger continued westbound before colliding with an eastbound 2020 Mazda 3. The Mazda was driven by 21-year-old Haley Takeda.

Takeda and George were taken to local hospitals after suffering life-threatening injuries. Eventually both were pronounced dead at the hospital on Saturday, according to reports.

Additionally, two passengers in the Mazda sustained critical injuries, and two passengers in the Toyota sustained severe injuries. The driver of the Nissan and his two passengers complained of discomfort.

An active investigation remains ongoing to determine further details.
