West Coast Sound critiques music of the universe though the lens of the 17th century Japanese poetic form, the Haiku.

Maybe you heard it streaming on Myspace, maybe you slurped it up off a torrent site, but today is the day that Dead Man's Bones officially emerges into the public consciousness. If you missed their residency at Bob Baker's Marionette Theater, they will play one last special benefit show for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music there on Friday, and will present a show at the Regent on October 30th. And who knows, maybe a special Halloween show is in the works.
