Los Cenzontles is an NPRish, alt-latin band that wrote a corrido about the racist fucked-up fascist controversial immigration legislation in Arizona.

It's called “Estado de Verguenza” (“State of Shame”) and, once again, takes the racist-baiting, should-know-better Arizona politicians who pushed the hateful measures to task, in a substantially more melodic way than Rage Against the Machine.

Now underground filmmaking legend Les Blank, who made the amazing Chulas Fronteras film about Mexican conjuntos in 1976, and is best known as “the guy who made Werner Herzog eat his shoe” (YouTube it if you think we're being metaphorical) made a video for Los Cenzontles' corrido.
