Motorcycle Accident near Mellwood Drive Left One FatalityOAKLEY, CA (February 2, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, police responded to a motorcycle crash that claimed the life of Gustavo Garcia. It happened at about 3:10 a.m., January 29th, at the intersection of Laurel Road and Mellowood Drive. According to police, 48-year-old Garcia was speeding with his motorcycle when a vehicle pulled out from Mellowood Drive onto Laurel Road. Consequently, Garcia struck the vehicle and was sent up at least 100 yards away from his motorcycle. Furthermore, responding officers and paramedics pronounced Garcia dead at the scene.
