21-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident on Wooley Road in Oxnard

OXNARD, CA (March 16, 2021) – Monday night on February 22, 21-year-old Guillermo Salazar, was found dead on Wooley Road and E Street.

The vehicles involved were described as a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle and a 2009 Mercedes Benz. Police arrived to the scene around 6:50 p.m., at the Wooley Road and E Street intersection.

At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unknown. However, reports indicate that medics took Salazar to Ventura County Medical Center for further treatment. Due to extreme blunt force trauma, Salazar later died around 10:45 p.m.

At this time, authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver involved. Although, an active investigation to determine further details remains ongoing.

The family of Guillermo Salazar has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with expenses during this devastating time.

In addition, investigators ruled out drugs or alcohol as potential factors in the crash. Once available, more information will be given.
