GRIND & BARE IT

Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson getting hitched? Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra getting unhitched? Apparently so, but none of this Baywatch-related drama has affected the mood over at Rock Star: Supernova, where Navarro and Pam’s ex Tommy Lee have been spending their time. We hung with the cast and contestants at the Paramour Estate in Silver Lake recently, where a vigorous jam session took place and bright-blue Hypnotic cocktails flowed nonstop. Not that Lee ever needed booze to get his jiggy on; the drummer (who laid his head on Nightranger’s preggy belly, among other antics) went nuts during the jam, even getting into a beer-swilling play scuffle with contestant Phil Ritchie during his Nirvana cover . . . Speaking of expectant mamas, Heidi Klum’s condition was enough to make organizers actually kick rich kids Nikki Hilton and Brandon Davis (ugh!) off a golf cart for her at the Jane Magazine/Clothes Off Our Back party in Beverly Hills last Thursday. A steep driveway led to the swanky soiree, where we saw the likes of Project Runway’s Santino Rice, Girls Gone Wild’s Joe Francis (the Jane issue features Klum and other starlets in the buff, so he was in his element) and the gals from MTV’s The Hills getting their groove on to DJs Franki Chan and Samantha Ronson. Actually, the best eye candy wasn’t even the celebs in attendance, but the photos of the extravagant home’s owner, eccentric real estate mogul Jim Goldstein, with everyone from George Clooney to P Diddy to a naked Pam Anderson (soon to be Pam Rock).

SHOP TILl YA POP

Speaking of stripping down, we did just that onstage at Spaceland a couple of weeks ago . . . Okay, it’s not what ya think; this was an afternoon clothing sale held by The Circle boutique, which filled the club with racks of foxy discounted frocks. The stage served as the changing area — which, by the way, was surrounded by curtains for us modest types. Rock-club sample sales seem to be a big trend this summer. This past Sunday, smashin’ fashion and $10 bottomless mimosas were had at Safari Sam’s monthly “Rock Shop,” where blues rockers The Purple Gang provided a jammin’ soundtrack for big and little spenders. Sam’s discount boho designer events will be monthly (next one’s Sunday, August 20), with brunch available from its Machete Café courtesy of chef Michael Wynsen and Julio Douglas (Eat Well, Brite Spot). Gil Fuhrer, a partner at the original Huntington Beach Safari Sam’s in the ’80s, happened to be checking out the space on Saturday for the first time, and he was lovin’ it. And if you’re wondering why Sam’s never had an official opening party, wonder no more — they’re planning a big bash on August 17. More deets to come . . .

HAMMER TIME

Indie 103.1’s free shows at the Hammer museum have been worth the trek to Westwood, especially last week, when Rocco Deluca and the Burden attracted more than 1,000 peeps of all ages to the space’s pretty, tree-lined courtyard. Kiefer Sutherland introduced the melodic troubadour (Deluca’s on his label, Ironworks), and Indie’s mashup master Paul V spun afterward. It was so nice and breezy we didn’t want to leave, and if you’re reading this on Thursday, July 27, it’s your last chance to see what we mean. Electro-tarts Shiny Toy Guns fire it up for the final show of the series.
