The 1975 documentary Grey Gardens, which follows the eccentric and reclusive lives of Edith Bouvier Beale and daughter Edie (aunt and cousin of Jackie O.) as they live in squalor in a dilapidated mansion in East Hampton, has inspired a Broadway musical and more drag shows than Mommie Dearest. One of its directors, Albert Maysles (one-half of the brother team behind Gimme Shelter), screens the film and takes part in a Q&A with director Liz Goldwyn.
