Crash on Royal Avenue near First Street Left 71-Year-Old Gregory J. Anderson Dead

SIMI VALLEY, CA (January 4, 2022) – Police identified Gregory J. Anderson as the deceased victim of a crash on Royal Avenue Friday evening.

The fatal incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. just west of First Street, according to the police.

In addition, the investigators identified that the crash involved him and an SUV driving on Royal Avenue.

At this time, Simi Valley officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Later on, Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased cyclist as 71-year-old Gregory J. Anderson.
