Los Angeles is becoming the epicenter for not only cannabis, but also, cannabis-themed events. Grassfedfounded by Dan Braunstein and Tomer Grassiany, has a brand vision that highlights mindful cannabis consumption alongside interactive art, immersive technology, dance, live music and dining. Its trendy themed parties are geared toward a wide audience, from the cannabis connoisseur to the first time canna-curious.

Events range from their Taste Buds series, an event for cultured foodies, to Innerspace, an immersive technology, interactive art and live music event held at Wisdome LA, a five-dome entertainment and art park downtown.

Traditional cannabis events throughout the country have typically been designed to attract old-school stoner stereotypes and were focused on the consumption of cannabis. Grassfed is part of a new wave of cannabis events focused on a different lifestyle demographic interested in more than consumption and offers a unique approach to cannabis by creating an intricate smoke-free experience that’s friendly for all.

In addition to out-of-the-box, new experiences, it’s also leading the cannabis craze down the aisle by providing low-dosing fun for couples’ “I Do’s.” At these cannabis weddings, bouquets are not the only flowers worth catching!

Grassfed’s emphasis is on mindful cannabis consumption and responsible dosing. Educated budtenders offer vaping of cannabis flower and concentrates in a smoke-free environment. They also help facilitate microdosing of edibles and infused cocktails.

“By combining terpenes and cannabinoid distillate, we’re able to bring mixology to the cannabis world,” says Grassiany. “Much like with craft cocktails, ingredients are combined to create a desired experience. Similarly,  we offer the opportunity to learn and then choose one’s own terpenes to create a customized cannabis experience.”

A key philosophy of the founders,  shared by so many is that cannabis is a healthy tool to enhance experiences, while staying active and engaged with the world.
