The nerdery on the interwebz is all aflutter with news that Boston's eyebrowless princess of musical theater Weimarlesque Amanda Palmer (formerly of the Dresden Dolls) and dapper Brit Gothic funnybook scribe Neil Gaiman have tied the knot, quite possibly in a Wiccan ceremony officiated by Tori Amos at an abandoned Scottish abbey modded by a team of the world's top steampunk scientists and decorated by a gaggle of undead Berlin degenerates from the 1920s.*

Here is a wedding snapshot, courtesy of the bride's Twitpics:

* Details are fanciful. UPDATE: Wedding occurred in Ayelet Waldman and Michael Chabon's “parlour” (according to Wikipedia, “Waldman and Chabon currently live in a 1907 Craftsman house in the Elmwood section of Berkeley, California”).

Romantic tweet of the evening: Neil to Amanda: “we tangoed! Nothing else will be that scary ever again.” Awwwww…
