69-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Collision with Mountainside

PALMDALE, CA (February 8, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, Gordon Moore died following a motorcycle crash on Bouquet Canyon Road. The incident happened on February 4th, at around 4:10 p.m., just south of Elizabeth Lake Road. According to reports, Moore was riding a 2014 Harley-Davidson northbound on Bouquet Canyon Road when he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle veered across the road and crashed into the mountainside. The impact of the collision caused Moore to sustain fatal injuries. Emergency crews to the site of the crash declared 69-year-old Gordon Moore dead at the scene. Officials closed down the areas of the road surrounding the crash to perform cleanup and preliminary duties.
