Piccalilli in downtown Culver City has partnered with Paradis Ice Cream to create a specialty flavor called Vietnamese Coffee Toffee Date Cake. The new flavor is available at Piccalilli and all Southern California Paradis locations starting Monday, March 14 and running through Friday, March 25. The rich flavor combines Piccalilli’s Asian-inspired cuisine with Paradis’ signature gelato preparation methods and ingredients. Combining sweet and salty ingredients, with a thick and creamy, vanilla ice cream base, the flavor incorporates Medjool dates with Madagascar vanilla, and brandy-infused toffee sauce. The new flavor will be incorporated into dessert preparations each day at Piccalilli, like the topping for a Date Cake Crumble with Toffee Sauce on the side. At Paradis, the flavor is available by the scoop, served in a cup and as a shake.
