28-Year-Old Woman Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident near Iowa Avenue

COLTON, CA (July 12, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Ginamarie Priscilla Avila was killed in a 3-car collision on Interstate 215.

According to reports, the incident happened on July 2, around 5:50 a.m. Authorities responded to the scene on the southbound lanes of the freeway, near Iowa Avenue.

The deadly collision involved three vehicles. Although, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear at this time.

Upon impact, 28-year-old Avila suffered life-threatening injuries. First responders arrived shortly after and pronounced Avila dead at 6:10 a.m.

Crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, no other details about the collision are available to the public.
