Garbage Truck Crash on Fontanelle Court Left One San Jose Woman Dead

SAN JOSE, CA (February 10, 2022) – A garbage truck crash on Fontanelle Court claimed the life of Gina Kay Cunningham Wednesday morning.

According to the police, the crash occurred around 7:49 a.m. at the 400 block of Fontanelle Court.

Furthermore, police stated that the woman walked in front of the truck, apparently in the driver’s blind spot. First responders arrived and declared the woman dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Later on, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner Coroner’s office identified the woman as 63-year-old Gina Kay Cunnigham of San Jose.

San Jose Officials are investigating the incident at this time.
