48-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Collision near 263rd Street East

ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (March 4, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, 48-year-old Gina Brown was killed in a motorcycle crash on State Route 18.

Authorities responded to the scene around 1:15 p.m., on February 27 near 263rd Street.

Brown was riding a 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a male passenger when it went over the double yellow lines into the westbound lane for undetermined reasons. There, the motorcycle collided head-on with a 2021 Toyota.

Medics arrived and pronounced Brown, from Palmdale, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported her passenger to Antelope Valley Hospital with life- threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the two female occupants of the Toyota sustained non-life threatening injuries. They were given medical treatment at the scene.

As of this time, it is still undetermined if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the collision. However, the investigation continues.
