The transvestites (more than meets the eye) unite as trans and queer artists unveil TRANSylvania Mania, a Halloween party in which the only trick is the one you play on yourself for not admitting who you really are. The treats, on the other claw, are many, including but not limited to the absence of a dentist dropping a toothbrush in your sack. Comic transman and sometime Margaret Cho road dog Ian Harvie appears alongside video artist Tim Hicks and folksinger and sometime Nervous Gender member Phranc. For slightly more rockist fans, there's the trio of The L Word star and juggler Daniela Sea, Hole drummer Patty Schemel and Imperial Teen's Will Schwartz. Also, there's a Tranimal drag makeover workshop for impulsive people who really want to tell their parents something but haven't thought much past the first of November.
