With a 2×4 slung over his shoulder and a red, white, and blue flag gripped tightly in his hand, Hacksaw Jim Duggan is every true red-blooded American wrestling fan’s favorite icon. A WWE’s Hall of Fame class of 2011 inductee, he is a celebrated figure in the industry, and fans are wondering what he’s going to do next. He was also the winner of the 1988 Royal Rumble match, a United States Heavyweight Champion in World Championship Wrestling and the final World Television Champion. Recently, The Wrestling Collection, a division of 16 Creative, Inc., has signed the WWE Hall of Famer for exclusive brand representation.

What is The Wrestling Collection? The company was created to honor legendary wrestlers by providing a platform to grow their audience, improve customer engagement, and ultimately increase revenue. “The Wrestling Collection’s brand-to-fan experience combines merchandising, e-commerce, digital marketing, order fulfillment, and much more into one well-executed package,” explains the Collection.

Ted DiBiase Jr. is the Million Dollar Man, one of the greatest wrestling “villains” to ever grace the stage. Lauded for his technical ability and showmanship, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase has held the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and was the first WWF North American Heavyweight Champion, a three-time WWF Tag Team Champion, a one-time WWE 24/7 Champion, and winner of the 1988 King of the Ring tournament.

On this week’s episode of the L.A. Weekly weekly podcast, host and WWE fan Brian Calle sits down with the wrestling icons to talk about what’s next.

“The first thing I got to do, Brian, is give a big hoooooo,” laughs Duggan. “Gets the blood flowing, gets the hair standing up on top of my head! Everybody should start the morning off with a good hooo!”

“We also have on the line Ted DiBiase Jr., who I’m also a huge fan of, not just because I loved you in the ring and as part of legacy, but also I just love what you’re doing with The Wrestling Collection and how you’re building this organization to help honor and expand the legacies of the legends and icons that built wrestling,” introduces Calle.

“Well, I tell you, it’s an honor to be here as well,” responds DiBiase. “It’s a privilege to be with you. We thank you for your time. We thank you for giving us this audience. And man, I’m living a boyhood dream as well. You know, I’d be lying if I wasn’t. It’s obviously in my blood being a third-generation wrestler.”
