Tattoo artists from all over the world set up shop inside the Queen Mary in Long Beach for this year's installment of Art Gathering LA, the yearly event that has been shaping up to be “the Coachella of tattoo art.” The event also featured an art exhibit by many of the tattoo artists and other artists with a similar sensibility (this year, most of the pieces had a political slant—as in, if you wanted to see Donald Trump as the monster from the movie Predator, this was the art show for you). We shot a variety of artists working on their skin canvases, provided by the fans of the art of tattoo from all over the world who came to Southern California especially for the event.
