The Made in Brazil party returns to Avaland this Saturday with forceful rhythms from Brazil’s Life Is a Loop, a trio blending beats from decks, drums and CDs. The loops aren’t just auditory; images projected behind the group enhance and embellish the show. We’d tell ya exactly what to expect Saturday, but the group — DJ Leozinho, DJ Fabricio Pecanha and drumsynker Rodrigo Paciornik — prides itself on doing something different every time. We can expect that LIAL’s progressive electronic sounds and passionate percussion will be all-encompassing and full of life . . . and will go on into the wee hours. (The trio won’t even get started until after DJ Fabiano Veppo spins from midnight to 2 a.m.) The first 250 people in the door get access to a VIP reception with food and drink in the Spider Club. Avalon, 1735 Vine St., Hlywd.; Sat., May 12, 10 p.m.-7 a.m. (323) 462-8900.
