If you like your tattoos like you like your drinks — fast and cheap (and, frankly, you might need both here), then Broken Art Tattoo in Silver Lake has a deal for you: Get a tat for $20 ($10 for additional tats inked in the same session) and be a part of a Guinness world record attempt by artist Jeremy Swan to produce more than 801 tattoos in a 24-hour period.

Swan hopes he can do 900 in the session that begins Friday, Nov. 13, and he's already signed up 500 reservations. Still, he's reaching out.

“We really need the hours in the middle of the night to be filled,” Swan states. “So,

calling all bartenders and restaurant workers who get off at 2 a.m. … go

directly to Broken Art (with every drunk patron you can bring) and get

your $20 dollar record breaking tattoo!!!”

Sounds like a recipe for regret. But the designs are pretty cool. Swan is offering up four different choices for customers that meet Guinness' size and color requirements: An “LA,” a number “13,” a bat and a winged heart.

Broken Art is at 2400 Hyperion Ave. Info.
