Fatal Collision on Interstate 5 Left One Hurt, Geremy Larson Dead
ALGER, WA (August 11, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, Geremy Larson died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 5. The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m., on I-5 near the exit to Alger. According to reports, Geremy Larson was riding a Yamaha YZF-R6 south in the northbound lanes, near the Alger exit. The motorcycle collided with a Hyundai Elantra heading north. First responders transported the motorcyclist to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the other motorist, 25, of Mount Vernon, was hurt and sent to Skagit Valley Hospital. Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Police say it is still unknown if drugs and alcohol were a factor in the collision.
