22-Year-Old Geovonni Garcia Killed in Deadly Grant County Car Crash
GRANT COUNTY, WA (November 1, 2021) – Geovonni Garcia, 22, of Quincy, lost his life and two others were injured in a fatal crash on SR 282.
The collision occurred at 6:20 p.m. on SR 282 near the Ephrata Municipal Airport.
According to reports, David Metzger, 79, was driving a car when he attempted to cross SR 282 from Airport Road and collided head-on with another vehicle driven by Garcia.
Garcia’s vehicle collided with another vehicle as a result of the incident.
Responding authorities pronounced Garcia deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, medics transported the other injured drivers, Metzger and Devon White, 19 to Columbia Basin Hospital for treatment.
Authorities at this time are still investigating the crash.
