Crash on Sandhill Road Left 90-Year-Old Woman Dead
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 28, 2021) – Georgette Greene died in a three-vehicle crash on Tropicana Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened at around 3:36 p.m. at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Sandhill Road.
According to authorities, the driver of a 2017 Nissan Altima was heading westbound on Tropicana approaching Sandhill.
Consequently, the traffic light flashed a flashing yellow arrow and the driver of a 2011 Honda was turning left from eastbound Tropicana to northbound Sandhill.
Eventually, the collision occurred after the front of the Nissan crashed with the right front of the Honda.
The impact of the collision then diverted the Nissan into a stopped 2015 Jeep Cherokee at the junction.
Unfortunately, Greene was pronounced dead by first responders soon after they arrived on the scene.
Furthermore, the driver of the Nissan car remained at the site and did not appear to be intoxicated.
