82-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Collision near Milepost 2

CIBOLA, NM (October 26, 2021) – Friday afternoon, George W McBeath, 82, was killed in a motorcycle crash on BIA Road.

Officers responded near milepost 2 south of Ramah around 5:00 p.m., according to police.

Per reports, McBeath’s 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle left the road and crashed. Although, the events leading up remain unclear.

Investigators say McBeath was wearing a helmet at the time. However, he sustained severe injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

The accident was not caused by alcohol per the report. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
