Wow. Either this guy has balls of titanium or — hear us out now — he's innocent?

Cops this week said that after being arrested for allegedly impersonating a cop and robbing people, 42-year-old George Turegano of Fontana was jailed, bailed out and … did it again!

The LAPD says he was arrested earlier this month for his latest alleged caper, but now, given the brass involved here, they want to know if maybe the suspect did this on occasions they don't know about:

Cops say he seemed to like the immigrant-heavy areas west of downtown, Westlake and Pico-Union, and that he actually committed another robbery with a badge in his hand March 3 at West 7th Street and Mateo Avenue … after he was released on bail following six similar robberies.

Here's the rundown of his other alleged crimes, via LAPD statement:

1. September 16, 2009, 6th Street & Bonnie Brae Avenue

2. June 4, 2010, 3400 block of 15th Street

3. June 19, 2010, 2900 block of Barranca Avenue

4. June 30, 2010, 8th Street and Union Avenue

5. July 18, 2010, 11th Street and Burlington Avenue

6. July 18, 2010, 1400 block of South Bonnie Brae Avenue

Cops said Turegano would either walk up or stop behind victims in his 2005 Chevy Suburban or gray 2004 Chrysler Sebring, badge around his neck, gun in holster, stop them, handcuff them, frisk them and search them or their cars.

That's when the cash disappeared, the LAPD alleges.

So, basically, the cops want to know one thing: Have you been robbed by this guy?

Turegano is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 220. If you think you or someone you know has been victimized by the suspect, call detectives at 213-486-6840.
