The amateurs at next week's West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval can't hold a scented candle to the professionals in Best in Drag Show, the annual benefit for the nonprofit Aid for AIDS. Dudes who look like ladies from all over the country compete in swimsuit, talent, evening gown and interview competitions to see who'll snatch the title away from the reigning queen, the District of Columbia's Sybil Rights. Past celebrity judges have included Kathy Griffin, Dita Von Teese, Charlie Sheen, Tori Spelling, Elvira and Jo Anne Worley. This year, Glee actresses Dot-Marie Jones and Jayma Mays, Anna Faris, John C. Riley and others will vote for the new winner of the cubic zirconia crown. It takes a real man to wear women's clothes, albeit with a lot more nipping, tucking and plucking.
