47-Year-Old Man Killed in Collision near Buena Vista in Visalia

VISALIA, CA (March 25,2021) – Late Tuesday afternoon, 47-year-old Gene Edward Brady was killed in a motorcycle accident on Ben Maddox Way.

Officers say the crash happened just after 4:30 p.m., near Buena Vista Avenue. Crews arrived to the area shortly after being called to the scene.

Per reports, Brady was riding north on his motorcycle when he collided with a car. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding paramedics pronounced Brady dead on scene.

Following the investigation, police did not consider drugs and alcohol to be factors in the crash. In addition, there were no other injuries reported. The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time during cleanup. But, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.

At this time, authorities have not yet released a description of the vehicle or driver involved. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
