30-Year-Old Man Died in Garden Grove Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident

Garden Grove, CA (March 29, 2021) – Sunday morning, 30-year-old Gaspar Hernandez, of Orange County,  was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Katella Avenue.

Officers arrived at the scene just before 3:30 a.m. of March 21., the fatal Garden Grove pedestrian hit-and-run crash happened on Dino Street and Katella Avenue.

According to investigators, the car that hit the man left the scene instantly.

Hernandez was located in critical condition and rushed to a nearby trauma center.

Paramedics transported him to UC Irvine Medical Center. Unfortunately, the victim died in the hospital, due to the extent of his injuries.

At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing. Once available, more information will be released.
