74-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near West Windmill Lane
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 11, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, Gary Wayne Garrison was killed in a head-on crash on South Rainbow Boulevard.
The collision happened around 1:37 p.m., at the intersection of South Rainbow Boulevard and West Windmill Lane.
As per officers, a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado pickup-truck was traveling south approaching a green light at the Windmill Lane intersection. Meanwhile, a 2020 Nissan Rogue was traveling north on Rainbow, approaching the intersection.
As a result, the two vehicles collided head-on. Paramedics arrived and transported the Nissan driver to UMC Trauma where he was later pronounced dead.
Police later identified the deceased victim as 74-year-old Garrison. Meanwhile, the other driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Las Vegas police officials did not release any additional information. However, the cause of the accident and factors involved remain under investigation.
