If you like your dance music smooth and zesty (nu-jazz, deep house, drum & bass, Latin and soul) ya got to boogie over to Falcon this Wednesday and Thursday, as Berlin-based beat label Sonar Kollektiv celebrates its 10-year anniversary with sure-to-be-sizzlin’ sets from Alex Barck of Jazzanova and Roland Appel of Fauna Flash and Truby Trio. Those Germans sure know how to thrill even on the chillest grooves and, Jazzanova particularly, are revered for both their blissfully bold remixing skillz and exquisite original rhythms. The funky fusion of electro-textures and exotic melodies can only be enhanced by Falcon restaurant’s swanky yet cozy surroundings, so get there early, nibble on some appetizers and prepare for a very flavorful nightcap. Falcon, 7312 Sunset Blvd., Hlywd.; Wed.-Thurs., Oct. 24-25, 10 p.m. (323) 850-5350.
