Stacia Samartan, co-owner of Frosted Cupcakery, is not a culinary school trained baker, but years of baking at home with her mother have resulted in her opening up two cupcakeries. With the original Long Beach location up and running for four years, Samartan is confident that the new location on Highland Avenue, which opened in January, is well on its way.

And the mother-daughter team are looking for a full-time baker who can keep up with the fast-paced life of the cupcake shop, one that offers 17 flavors of cupcakes each day–not including a jumbo sized ice cream filled cupcake. So, if you have one to two years of professional baking experience, are hard working, keep a clean station, are detailoriented (the shop hand-frosts everything), and of course love cupcakes, then send in your job application to simone@frostedcupcakery.com. And be prepared to lead the 5 a.m. shift. Good luck.

Frosted Cupcakery: 1200 N Highland Ave., Los Angeles; (323) 467-1080, and 4817 E 2nd St., Long Beach; (562) 987-1080.
