Cradle of Filth Return with New Album

This week saw Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth tell us that: “I love coming to America. And the movie. No, we have such a great time. Every state is different, people are really accommodating. We just spent two days here in Dallas at Universal rehearsals, and people just couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. It’s just been a dream, it’s been brilliant. I bought a cowboy hat.”

DJ OBLVYN told us that, “Right before the restrictions, I was just starting to attend bigger EDM shows and felt really inspired to start performing live. But before I was ready to play my first show, everything was getting cancelled and I think it pushed artists to rely more on social media to connect with their fans. Live streaming became a big deal and collaborating online also became more frequent. In a way it allowed for us all to be more connected (virtually), but a big part of experiencing EDM had been missed for too long.”

And the Sugarplum Fairies told us: “My writing pencil has a Wilco line embossed: ‘I am an American Aquarian Drinker.’ Whenever I get stuck regarding lyrics it reminds me not to resort to easy cliché rhymes but look for alternative, oftentimes trivial, sources of inspiration like newspaper articles or billboards, where I might stumble across words that I have not encountered before. Words that can trigger a song title or even a story line.”
